Imagine you look up a recipe on Google, and instead of providing results, it lectures you on the "dangers of cooking" and sends you to a restaurant. The people who think poisoning AI/GPT models with incoherent "safety" filters is a good idea are a threat to general computation.

Gonna keep saying it. Thank you @RepThomasMassie. Free Assange.
Thanks again to @RepThomasMassie for shining a light on Julian Assange s persecution at the state of the Union this week. Met with lots of new allies in Washington as we continue to fight for Julian’s freedom.

One phone call - this pathetic theater of concern - while war inc gorges on blood -
The US is sending 1,000 soldiers to Gaza on the pretext of building a port to deliver aid, even though there are trucks waiting that could be let in with just a word.

Nothing exemplifies the psychosis America is experiencing right now better than crowds of old democrat voters trained to protect their president by shouting '4 more years!' in unison every time they hear the word 'Gaza', Really, mass psychosis. - This period is a living, breathing history lesson. We have no more questions about how anything was possible. We understand it all

The absolute lowest bar for credibility here is "no more bombs, no more aid, no more intelligence." That's just the basic competence test. If he were serious, he would go much further.

So, Biden has about 72 hours to convince Bibi (as well as crucial swing-state voters) that his "absolute red line" means something other than "I'm still going to send weapons" or "penalties calibrated to sound nice on TV while actually doing nothing to halt the genocide." ⏰⏳

No longer subdued by the pablum that if they have nothing to hide, they shouldn’t be concerned about invasions of their privacy, many Americans realize that there is something very wrong with allowing our government to vacuum up our communications and store them indefinitely in a vast database, ready and available for government agents to search at any time—all without probable cause or particularized suspicion.

One might think that the continuation of a controversial bulk warrantless surveillance program, without the express authorization of a representative legislative body, would be contrary to our country’s founding principles. But Section 702 provides for just such a loophole, allowing the program to continue during the duration of annual orders from the court, even if the underlying statutory authorization has expired. nytimes.com/2024/02/28/us/po…

SURVEILLANCE WITHOUT REPRESENTATION: In December, Congress rushed through a National Defense Authorization Act which included a short-term reauthorization of Section 702 of the FISA Amendments Act of 2008. Section 702 permits warrantless interception, collection, storage, and searching of communications related to “foreign intelligence information.” At the time, Senator Mike Lee warned that the reauthorization, although set to expire next month, would permit the program to continue until April 2025. It seems he was right.
Please share this if you think FISA 702 should NOT be in the NDAA. Including it would allow 702 collection—even if 702 expires after the NDAA’s April 2024 deadline—into 2025. Ask senators to OPPOSE today’s motion to waive the Rule 28 point of order. washingtontimes.com/news/202…

It’s hard to comprehend the deaths of 12,800 children. We put up figures of children on our studio walls - one for each child killed in Gaza during the war. They’re dying from airstrikes and now malnutrition and dehydration. These are some of their stories.
