Don’t look too far to see what will happen if #NHS collapses into a privatised healthcare system. Just look at your utility bills.

Rainwater is no longer safe to drink anywhere on Earth, scientists say, highlighting Forever chemicals present in rain such as #PFAS and #PFOA which don't break down in the environment and cause health issues. euronews.com/green/2022/08/0…

There is nowhere Covid won't go. Unfortunately this is a neuter diagram, but the evidence says that the female reproductive system is at least as vulnerable as the male, if not more so.

We can’t do this on our own. We HAVE to somehow get others on board to change the population mindset before they are all too disabled also! Awareness Campaign!!!

I thought people didn’t understand. It’s been a long, hard road to realising that actually it is that people don’t care.

1 in 20, 1 in 6, 5%, 30%, 1 in 8, 2 million, 500,000 etc How many people get #LongCovid? The figures change several times a week, no wonder the public doesn’t pay attention. But then the public doesn’t pay attention to *anything* that goes against the ‘all is fine’ rhetoric.

Do we need another 30 or 40 research papers showing there is an autoimmune component to #LongCovid? Why can’t we get access to testing?

Yes - I wonder why the digestive system isn’t being looked at.

itv.com/news/granada/2022-08… How many people realise that for thousands of immuno surpressed people, Covid inoculations offer no protection, & they continue to be locked down, unable to work or enjoy a social life. #Evusheld could help but this govt won't support it. @evusheld4theuk

You know how the line of "don't worry about monkeypox, it only hurts gay men" is super homophobic? Well the line of "don't worry about covid anymore, it only hurts the medically vulnerable" is equally bigoted against disabled/chronically ill people. #DisabilityTwitter #MaskUp

My local hospital & GP surgery no longer insist on masks. I asked radiographer to wear one recently while having #ECG for post #Covid heart palpitations. Why aren't they protecting patients & themselves? Madness.

My friend tonight. “It’s not long covid but…” she couldn’t walk long distances for over 6 mos due to shortness of breath post covid and now, 2yrs later “my brain still can’t do what it used to”. She thinks it’s because of a diet change at the time that didn’t work for her. 🤷‍♀️

I sometimes wonder if we will see long-term shifts in geopolitical power along lines of countries that understand pandemic response, the devastation that infectious diseases can wreak & those who don't... countries that followed the precautionary principle & those who didn't.🧵

I find it shocking that so many were told such bullsh*t. With me it was highly damaging as it made me suicidal.

The hospitals knew some people were getting ill despite “normal” tests. It’s absolute nonsense that they truthfully believed we had anxiety - many had severe tachycardia and neurological symptoms for gods sake! That’s not normal. They just didn’t want to deal with it.

I can’t believe hospitals wouldn’t be talking to each other about what they were seeing. Also they knew what tests to do and when to say all was “normal”.
