The explosion was heard in around 50 towns. There is absolutely no official confirmation yet. The silence perhaps points to an incident in a sensitive location. There is an IRGC missile site in that area which was used in 2017 to target Deir ez-Zur. 👇

The explosions (there were several) were heard in over 4 provinces, not cleat if they were different or the same were heard everywhere There seems to be an announcement by the IRGC that these were due to "sudden exercises for some new air defence system" whatever that means.

The district governor for Asadabad, Hamadan has said they have not been able to get any clarification from [military] officials on the cause of the massive bang.

10 hours after an incident which was heard in a radius of 300km, still complete silence from the Iranian authorities which kinda confirms something big happened. Parliament's security committee announced they do not yet know what happened(or can't say?)

OK this is beyond comedy. Tasnim close to IRGC: - there was absolutely no military drill in the area - there was no attack/sabotage by the enemies - incident was just lightning and thunder ⚡!!

Meanwhile flights have been avoiding the area and the authorities are claiming this is due to weather conditions. Note the sky clearance on the west of Iran.

OK here is my theory which could very well be completely out: This was perhaps Israel's first air raid to targets within Iran (bunker buster bombs maybe?) and the target must have been a missile underground site or ammunition depot. Why west? Since perhaps no refuelling needed.

Considering the huge impact and the complete silence, this is indeed a VERY serious and unprecedented incident. So my two cents on the Israelis trying out their operations on the Iranian targets to get a feel for practicality of their plans. I reckon we have entered a NEW PHASE

Just now Interior ministry's deputy ruled out any military origin and attributed it to adverse weather conditions and thunder and lightning ⚡. As if people have never seen lightning in their life. It was heard as south as Ahvaz and as north as Azerbaijan
